Health care bill close to a vote WITH public option in it

“It’s definitely being considered,” the source said, referring to the public option compromise that may end up in the Senate’s health care bill.“It came out at last night’s meeting,” the source indicated. “It was indicated that based on some surveying that had been done of the moderates, that it doesn’t so far seem like they would jump out of their skin as long as they have an opportunity to vote to strip it.”

The primary development this week has been talk of an “Opt Out” clause for health insurance – allowing people to chose to NOT get health insurance – versus being FINED for not having it (which Socks and Barney mocked back in 2007 when it was part of Hillary Clinton’s primary campaign).
It looks like the Senate vote could come much sooner than expected and include the troublesome Public Option.
