What we learned in school today…
The Republicans got their knickers in a twist over Obama beaming a welcome video to students as a kick off to the new public school year. The radical right’s pre-emptive strike was so disproportionate and silly that the even the conservative Wall Street Journal’s news piece was summed up with a quote about the GOP needing to pick their battles. Needless to say, there was nothing in Obama’s remarks which would cause an uproar and the speech was widely praised by conservatives including Newt Gingrich… which will be the subject of tomorrow’s strip.
