And we’re back…
September 1st, 2009It’s been three months of no Socks and Barney as I’ve been working on other projects – some of which I’ll be able to show you in the coming weeks. I’ll also have news about a collection of Socks and Barney strips which I’ll have available at SPX at the end of this month.
So much news and so many strips to catch up with: health care reform, death panels, Disney buys Marvel, Democrats have 60 Senate votes and can’t pass the salt. Good times.
I was pretty happy to come back with a Cheney joke. When I see Cheney’s shadow, we have six more weeks of Socks and Barney strips. I’ve been working non-stop during the S&B break and I think it shows – I like how today’s strip looks. And Chris Wallace has the distrinction of being the first person I’ve ever drawn who required a ruler to draw his hairline.
