Watching CNN as Wolf Blitzer was announcing the 8pm ET projected winners and in two of the the small TV screens above his jumbotron were playing what looked like Family Guy and Spongebob Squarepants. So awesome.

The Networks call it for Obama. FiveThirtyEight, CNN and AP are holding back. A win in Virginia or Florida means a lock for Obama. Networks also call New Hampshire for Obama. McCain made a play for it in the final days hoing the granit state could revive his chances as it had before. No dice. [...]

Given Obama’s win in Ohio, it’s over. Barack Hussein Obama will be the 44th President of the United States. All the networks are calling it. When there’s video available of the concession and victory speeches, I’ll post them. – Steve
