Today’s FFS: Phony Virginia flier gives the wrong election date

October 27th, 2008

From TPM

A phony flier, purporting to be from the Virginia Board of Elections, is circulating in the African-American-heavy Hampton Roads region of the state, falsely informing people that, because of expected high turnout, Democrats should vote on November 5th.

The election is November 4th.

As a Virginian, this hits close to home. I went to the polls in the past two presidential elections despite knowing that the outcome was predetermined by overwhelming amount of idiots and cowards for W. This year, the election should be close and every vote counts.

Again, I’m not a Democrat but it’s pretty damned clear that only one party wants to supress votes and it ain’t the dems.

More and more I’m finding myself agreeing with Andrew Sullivan’s assertion that Obama’s margin needs to be 6-7% just to make it unable to be stolen.
