Veep debate tonight

Biden and Palin square off tonight and I’ll be drawing today’s strip during teh debate and posting it shortly thereafter.
I’m looking forward to the debate the same way most Nascar fans look forward to race day.
Only in Nascar, the spinning and losing control happens BEFORE the crashing and burning.

That debate was just miserable. The only person who had a worse time than those watching it was whoever was forced to transcribe it.
Palin started strong but it’s clear that her only strength is that folksy, “gosh, y’all” shtick. And while it’s charming at first, it gets really old, really fast.

Krauthhammer throws in the towel

Election day is four weeks from tomorrow and the deadline to register in many states (including here in Virginia) is today. The latest Suffolk University poll gives Obama a 12-point lead in Virginia, 51-39.
