Clear and present danger. Obama is the former, McCain the latter.
A good debate. The format should be the standard for all debates.
Neither one screwed up. McCain managed to ignore most of Obama’s attacks and never picked up the gauntlet when it was thrown. Obama looked and sounded presidential.
I don’t think the debate would have changed anyone’s minds.
McCain is a much better debater than Obama and he showed it tonight. Given how wrong mccain is on almost every issue, he managed to turn every economics question into something about earmarks and everything about the war into the surge.
McCain seems to think we need to stay in Iraq so that 4,200 soldiers didn’t die in vain. I think Obama just needs the nerve to say those 4,200 Americans would be alive if not for Bush and McCain.
