Democratic convention starts today

August 25th, 2008

The Democratic National Convention starts tonight in Denver. The highlights will be a speech by Michelle Obama and a tribute to Ted Kennedy.

The manstream media seems to think the Hillary faction is still reluctant to vote for Obama and is leaning toward McCain. The truth is, most Americans are only vaguely aware who Obama is. Hopefully, this week will fix that and will undo some of the damage McCain’s negative-ad carpet bombing is doing.

I will not be blogging tonight as it’s my birthday. I will however eat a slice of cake each time someone at the convention says “Bush-McCain.”

I expect to gain 37 pounds.
