State of the strip update: Dental edition
April 18th, 2008For as long as this strip has been running - since November of 2007 - I’ve had trouble with one damned tooth. Since then, one dentist and two endodontists have - every copule of weeks - had the tooth capped, root canaled through the cap, posted and filled, insterted with antibiotics and this month root canaled AGAIN after the pain came back! On Tuesday, they did the second part of the second root canal and hopefully it was the last procedure. The downside of this is that for the past two weeks I’ve been on painkillers that have made more than a little loopy and grumpy. To round out my Doctor Gregory House impression, I’ve got a three-day growth of a beard and have taken to walking with a limp. I’m now looking for residents - preferably an African America, an Aussie and a hot chick. No fatties please.
I’m optimistic that this was the last procedure for this damned tooth. Now that my head is clearing, we’ll have more strips on the way and back on a daily schedule - with color weekend editions.
