Hillary’s quote above was in regards to her brazen, over-the-top lying about her in-no-way-dangerous international travels as first lady. She joked about it on Leno (after all – there’s nothing funnier than winning the nomination for President by lying so big, it makes Orwell’s body spin in its grave like a whirligig) and gave that artfully crafted line of B.S. quoted in the strip. The key point to note in the quote is that it’s simply a true statement of a state of affairs as if no human were involved. Not even, “I mismatched words and actions.” It simply “was” a mismatch of words and actions. Brilliant.
