Three State Dept. employees caught spying on Obama
March 20th, 2008On three separate occasions, three State Department contract employees improperly accessed Obama’s passport information. Josh Marshall of TPM points out the relevance of the three days (January 9, February 21 and March 14) the records were breached:
That would be the day after the New Hampshire primary, the day of the Democratic debate in Texas and the day the Wright story really hit.
Two of the employees were fired and one was disciplined. The State Department has not identified the employees in deference, I assume, to their privacy. *cough*
