Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter breaks down the race. Giving Clinton the benefit of every doubt (even assuming she won Vermont tonight – which she didn’t) it’s almost impossible to get the elected delegate lead.

Which means the only way for Clinton to win is to have Super Delegates hand her the nomination.

    What if the DNC counts the votes in Michigan and Florida, What then? Should any candidate be the official nominee without those delegates?
