What I’m thinking about the Texas, Ohio, Vermont, Rhode Island primaries

Mike Huckabee has dropped out of the race.
Clinton Wins Ohio and Rhose Island; Obama wins Vermont; Texas too close to call

As expected, Clinton won Rhode Island and Obama won Vermont.
Clinton now has a slight lead in Texas but it’s still too close to call.

Blog: March 4th, 2008Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter breaks down the race. Giving Clinton the benefit of every doubt (even assuming she won Vermont tonight - which she didn’t) it’s almost impossible to get the elected delegate lead.
Which means the only way for Clinton to win is to have Super Delegates hand her the nomination.
