But he is ducking debates. Hillary wanted to debate more than twice. Obama only agreed to debate two times. It seems to me that the charge is fair. Besides, the previous debates were with other candidates. Now that only Obama and Clinton remain is when we need debates where real, detailed policy questions can be brought up. I want the two candidates to flesh out their plans. Sure Obama speaks well, he is inspiring. Speeches and inspiration are not going to stop the war in Iraq or capture Osama. I want to his plans for the country and for stopping the war in detail. I think he fears facing Clinton who is a policy wonk. He is afraid that debating with Clinton will reduce his lead which is based on inspiration and optimism not policy. If he can’t face Clinton, how can he claim to be ready for the presidency.
